Nowadays! The updated news never eludes my awareness
Stories, telling of events that looks terrible:
Of the Government in power, acting in contempt
At the expense of the people.
Being that I became frustrated with the system
I took it up to leave
The shores of my country home.
But all night,and day,
My heart weep for a nation once reverred.
Devourers like the woodpecker,
Emerge with the swarm of force to retard
Our steady progress and move to soundness;
Also rendering useless and undermined.
There has got to be a revolution
To effect lasting transformation.
But where is the possibility?
Yes! We should control the compass
Hear my words, Faithful refugees;
We've got to return home,
To the place where we belong,
For the change to normalcy
Requires our United resolve.
